Peter Parker's next movie is called “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” It will start filming this summer. Director Destin Daniel Cretton shared this news at CinemaCon.
Tom Holland wasn't at CinemaCon, but he sent a video to tease the movie. He's busy filming “The Odyssey” with Matt Damon, Zendaya, and Anne Hathaway.
“I am so sorry I can’t be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie,” Holland said. He mentioned that “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is a fresh start. That's all he could say.
Holland is known for sharing Marvel secrets. But he promised not to spill any spoilers this time.
“That’s all I’ve been allowed to say,” Holland said. “And I’m well over the hump of giving away spoilers, so don’t be worried. I’m not going to do that today.”
The last movie, “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” ended with Peter Parker erasing his identity. The new movie, coming out on July 31, 2026, is still a mystery. The team is working hard to come up with a great story.
“I’m spending my time exploring the next stage of this amazing character with a team of the most incredible artists in the world,” Cretton hinted. They're excited to create something new and emotional.
Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will likely return as MJ and Ned. Sadie Sink has also joined the cast. Her role is still a secret, but she might play Jean Grey.
It's not clear who else will join Holland in the movie. Cretton didn't confirm any casting yet. But he's excited about the team working on “Brand New Day.”
“I really wish I could introduce you to our entire team who are working their bloods off for this,” Cretton said. “They are incredible, and you will see their amazing work when ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ hits your theaters.”
Theaters are excited to show Peter Parker again. Holland's movies have done very well at the box office. “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” and “Spider-Man: No Way Home” have all been huge hits.
Holland “I would never pass up the opportunity,” Holland told the room of exhibitors, “to say a massive ‘thank you’ for all of your support for all of our ‘Spider Man’ movies.”
